WESTCHESTER, IL - Abridean Inc. and the Fuzhen Group, have entered talks to continue training at the fast growing software company.
Abridean recently selected the San Francisco/Chicago-based consultancy firm, the Fuzhen Group, to provide assessment and training to accelerate needed innovation within the software company. That phase of the project is complete.
The Fuzhen team, headed by Gerald O'Dwyer, worked with Abridean in realizing Abridean's goal of learning how to foster innovation and speed up implementation of the Abridean "Go-to-Enterprise Market" plan.
Customers of Abridean, a global organization that develops infrastructure software, include Sprint, USA.net, COLT Telecom, Telco and others. Abridean's user management and provisioning solutions enable organizations to simply and securely manage employee access to enterprise software applications, resources and devices. Abridean's flagship product is the abrideanProvisor.
Expertise in implementing change
O'Dwyer's expertise is in studying diverse corporate cultures and analyzing how communication can be optimized to improve organizational and operational performance. O'Dwyer's team trains managers in techniques to quickly immplement changes. Fuzhen clients include Stanford University, Arthur Anderson, General Mills, Hewlett-Packard and Motorola.
5-phase project
The agreement includes five phases of applying the innovation strategic principles.
- Phase One is a three-day class focused on the senior leaders at Abridean to implement and teach the main principles and guidelines for innovation and strategy.
- Phase Two is a follow up by Fuzhen with individuals on a weekly base to insure understanding of Phase One learning and practices.
- Phase Three is the development of operational plans in accordance with the companies' new vision for innovation and strategy with the guidance of the Fuzhen Group.
- Phase Four brings together all Phase One participants along with members of their team to expand the learning to others.
- Phase Five is a follow up to this last phase and examines the topics at a more glandular level, while continuing to work at expanding the team though co-ordination, details examining connects and disconnects.
Abridean intends to measure whether the need has been meet by this approach in examining the company's revenue statements on a regular basis to see if as our productivity increases due to our acceleration in innovation.
