Moffitt癌症中心的主任多样性受到国家认证

The 健康管理研究所 created the 美国卫生保健协会领导委员会 to foster collaboration among professional diversity practitioners committed to developing and implementing change initiatives through research, education and advocacy to improve the quality, safety and access to care among the nation’s health care providers.

The council developed the Certificate in Diversity Management Program, which is the only comprehensive diversity certificate program focused solely on health care. The program provides diversity practitioners with a practical learning experience in all aspects of designing, implementing, and measuring the effectiveness of a diversity initiative。 

“This is a major accomplishment for Cathy and it means so much for our efforts at Moffitt. Cathy will have access to all of the cutting edge information and programs related to diversity and inclusion。We will certainly be in a better position to apply this information to all of our work at Moffitt.  Cathy has taken another step towards becoming a national leader in health care diversity and inclusion,” said B。Lee Green, Ph.D., vice president Moffitt Diversity and Community Relations.

The Certificate in Diversity Management Program is a 12-month blended curriculum that seeks to strengthen diversity leaders so they can improve the patient experience。The program is designed and taught by experienced diversity practitioners and supported by the 健康管理研究所, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association.
